Research Summary:
For my dissertation research, I study the influence of a ubiquitin-ligase-associated protein (known as DCAF12) on TGF-beta signaling at the Drosophila neuromuscular junction. This signaling pathway is known to regulate growth and synaptic transmission, and our research demonstrates that DCAF acts as a negative regulator of this signaling.
